Justin Brunner helps railroad employees assert their rights under FELA, FSAA, and LIA. Justin also works zealously for anyone else who contacts YJB after suffering a personal injury or the wrongful death of a next-of-kin.
Before Justin joined YJB, he gained extensive legal and litigation experience. Justin worked for the Institute for Science, Law & Technology at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Chicago-Kent College of Law. Justin interned at the Chicago Environmental Law Clinic. He also interned at the Office of Regional Counsel for Region 5 of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Justin volunteered in Chicago for the Center for Access to Justice & Technology Self-Help Web Center at the Daley Center. He has volunteered in Minnesota for the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, the Sierra Club North Star Chapter, and the Scott County Attorney’s Office. Most recently, Justin was appointed to serve as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michele A. Davis, Wright County District Court Judge, and he held that position for a year and half before joining YJB.
Justin grew up in central Illinois near Decatur in a union family. He moved to southern Illinois for college, and he relocated to Chicago for law school. Justin moved to the Minneapolis area in 2008, and he has lived there ever since.
