Bill Frenz, Director of Field Operations
As Director of Field Operations for Yaeger, Jungbauer & Barczak, Bill Frenz oversees the activities of the field representatives, and works closely with Union representatives throughout the country in an effort to better educate railroaders about their rights under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. He is very knowledgeable about the benefits of Railroad Retirement, sickness benefits, and annuities. Since 1992 his work with Yaeger, Jungbauer & Barczak has involved meeting with his old friends in the railroad industry and making new ones in the process of helping injured railroad workers. Bill said, “I have from a personal standpoint been through what an injured railroader goes through and hope to be able to help people at a most difficult time. A time when they are injured and are not sure of the future of their jobs or the ability to provide for their families.”
Bill worked for 24 years on the Soo Line Railroad as a fireman and locomotive engineer, and spent three years running passenger trains for Amtrak. During his time on the railroad he held numerous Union positions including legislative representative, secretary/ treasurer, local chairman and general chairman.
A lifelong resident of the Minneapolis area, Bill currently lives with his wife, Mary Ann and dog Jake in Coon Rapids, MN. He spends his days off hunting, fishing, and camping with his children and grandchildren.
