David attended Hamline University where he received a paralegal certificate before attending the Mitchell Hamline School of Law where he graduated cum laude. In law school, David was externed with the Minnesota Court of Appeals in the chambers of the Honorable John Rodenberg. After law school, David was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ellen L. Maas in Washington County District Court. Before joining YJB, David worked as a commercial litigator in Minnesota where he represented businesses and financial institutions. David decided to join the YJB team to focus on representing people and not corporations. David has experience representing clients in all stages of state and federal court litigation.

David is active in the local community. He served two terms as the Treasurer of the Washington County Bar Association and currently serves as the organization’s Vice President.David joined the firm in 2019. He is a resident of Stillwater, Minnesota where he enjoys distance running and fishing. He is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
